Tamsin's 'Swan Song' - Our old girl - she is nine years old, said "Please one more litter before I hang up my breeding shield." So we said OK. Tamsin's lovely colourpoints arrived on 21 January and 23 January respectively! Yes, two days apart (she has done this once before), and they are a Seal/Tortie Smoke Point and a seal/tortie point. Both girls are lovely, with deep blue eyes. This is DEFINITELY her Last Litter!

One of Tamsin's babies with one of Jamie's little kittens - he is the littlest guy! Tamsin is fostering this wee lad- Jamie had 7 little kittens - and Tamsin has gladly given her a 'paw.' .

One of Tamsin's kittens - Hekla Periwinkle - a Seal/Tortie Point girl will 'carry on the Sharella line'.
As I am keeping her for breeding. She is a sturdy, well built girl. Very intelligent and self- assertive, like all young women of today. (Even in the feline world!)

Our lovely Tamsin has now been spayed.

After a long 'career' as a breeding queen, Tamsin (Sharella Cleo), has been spayed and is officially 'retired.' Born on 9 March 1994, our Foundation Girl, mother of (among many lovely kittens) Ch Hekla Athena Rose, Hekla Little Star and her newest girl baby, Hekla Periwinkle (who is to succeed her as a breeding girl), has now retired to enjoy the good life. And.. yes, it is a new life, as our girl now: plays like a kitten, runs in and out all day - with no danger of getting caught by stray Toms but best of all... Will chase, catch and belt up any cat that comes into our section!
Stray cats beware, as this wee girl packs a wallop.

Buccaneer sadly passed away on 31 January 2006. He was our foundation boy and he was only 11 years old. He will always live in the kittens he fathered and in our hearts. He is the father of Berengaria (Beri), Legally Blonde (Blondie), Annabelle, Sister Little Heart (Sissy) and other cats and kittens, pets to many, who enjoy the friendship of one or two of Buccaneer's babies. Do have a look at his story and see why we loved him so much.

Here are three of our queens enjoying the Great Outdoors (our section, anyway!). Adnamelga Blue Melody, Hekla Annabelle (Retired) and Ch Hekla Jellybean Rose.

Annabelle is Missing! Yes, our lovely Tortoiseshell Annabelle, has been missing since 2 June 2007. She just disappeared and we have not seen her or know what happened to her since that day. We are heartbroken and cannot cope with her loss. Every day I expect her to come back to us, as she was not unhappy, hardly ever left our fenced in property and we have not seen not heard that she met with an accident. An APB (All Points Bulletin) has been posted on several places, including petsonthenet, SPCA, Waitakere Animal Welfare and Trade Me. If anyone reads this that may know something about her disappearance, please e-mail us to advise. We love and miss our special girl.
