Hi and Welcome to the Babies' Page!

Come on in!

On this page, we have some of kittens sold earlier this year. These photos will give you an indication as to what kittens' colours are like.

Gabriel - a sealpoint boy

And here is Gabriel's brother, Cameron, a Bluepoint boy, now residing in mid-North Island.

Two Tortoiseshells:

Hekla Charlotte Soraya Mary at 8 weeks and...

Here again at 15 weeks (photo kindly sent in by her new family.)

Here she is now - an adult and gorgeous Spay!

And:
Hekla Lucy Lawless - a real cutie with gorgeous eyes. Full of mischief (so her 'family' tell me, but very endearing!) Twice as nice, here is another Lucy Photo:

What a Beauty!
And...

A lovely close up of this little Honey. Psssst... did you know that the owners of Lucy came back and bought two more kittens two years later? This was a wee while ago and they tell me that the three cats - Lucy Lawless, Snowdrop and Rufus Gift Of Gold - are very content and continue to give love and happiness and are cherished (and spoiled!) family pets.

Two littlies - Hekla Lisbet - a Chocolate Tortie Point and her brother Hekla Andre - a Blue point boy, outside for the first time last summer. Both now happily settled in their new homes.

Hekla Danielle - a Cream (Solid colour) female - at 9 weeks. She was the first one to leave home from her litter at 10 weeks, as she was so delicately beautiful from the first.

Hekla Pandora, a Blue/Cream (Solid colour) Persian. Shares her home with another (older) Hekla cat - Hekla Jemima - Tortoiseshell (nicknamed Jill).

Hekla Treasure English Rose - A Seal Tortie Point, now a Beach Baby, who lives by the sea up North (of Auckland).

Hekla Toshiro, a Black Persian (Solid Colour) male at 10 weeks. He is now living a very happy life with his devoted (human) parents, who are home ALL Day (as they work from home). Lucky Toshiro always has someone to play with.

For the kitten season 2003 - 2004 we sold the following kittens:

These are but a few. These kittens are ones whose colours will come up again in our breeding program. For information about future kittens, please e-mail us and we will be happy to provide the information for you.

What they look like when they are a bit older-

Here is a photo of Hekla Claudius, a Blue kitten. He is 7 months old in this picture, which was kindly sent by his owners. He is a very beautiful Blue, with deep eye colour (as you can see), and he, his sister, Hekla Persephone and the humans that keep them , live in perfect harmony.

Here is Persephone, a Lilac/Cream Solid coloured Persian kitten, at the same age as her brother - 7 months of age.
Click here to see how this kitten 'helped' me to win a NZ Cat Fancy Breeder's Award of Merit.

Update in 2004: Persephone (aka Sophie) helps out in the planting of flowers. Note that her beautiful colour is still true - a gorgeous Lilac/Cream Girl.

An here is Claudius (aka Claudie), still speaking his mind. Read on.....
These two 'rascals' are now three years old and thriving. They are going to be baby sat by a retired couple. Their owners are going to work overseas for a short period, and it was 'touch and go' as they didn't want to leave their 'babies.' But a family friend has offered her country home to these gorgeous cats and now they are to holiday there while this young couple advance their careers. They told me "We couldn't give them up, they are our Babies!"

Like these two pets, all Hekla kittens are beautiful and have great eye colour and lovely coloured fur. These kittens are lively, intelligent, socialised, playful but not too boisterous. They are healthy and happy and quickly aclimatise themselves to YOUR lifestyle, as they are very confident and expect to be loved, as they have been (here) since they were born!

Here is a photo of one of the older cats that we sold as a kitten. His name is Hekla Barnibee (the owners wanted that spelling). He is now five years old and a treasured pet. "He is a really healthy boy and we love him!" this young couple told me.

If you wish to know more about us and our cats and kittens, please e-mail me and I will be happy send you additional information.

This young red lad, Hekla Chiko, is now a South Island cat as his people have moved to Christchurch. They wrote to me to let me know they have moved so that I would still send them their issues of 'Kitty News.' How is this boy? Healthy and Happy, of course! It's great to keep in touch.
